My name is Diundra Doughty. I graduated from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School in 2007.  I was class president, homecoming queen, a stand out athlete, and I also excelled academically.  After high school, I attended Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. At graduation, I was recognized for having the highest GPA of all graduating Biology majors Spring of 2011.

I am so excited that I get to give back to my community through teaching in the same county that I graduated from. I have been a teacher at the middle school level for 4 years.  I started off teaching math, but now I am teaching science.  I have always wanted to teach science because I believe that it is the subject where learning can be more creative and fun.  I also like that students can explore and become independent learners.
